Imagine you’re going to travel around the world. What would be the countries you’d avoid going to because of their animals/nature? ANIMALS/NATURE, NOT political or war conditions. Mine would be: Australia: Because they have every poisonous insect and snake there. Brazil: Because of the Amazon. Countries in middle Africa: Because of the Tsetse fly. Please don’t be offended. This is my personal opinion. What are yours? No stupid answers please!
What is the best way to find a travel buddy to Australia. Plan on visiting in January 2007. Plan on seeing Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Probably more. I want to keep my cost down, so plan on staying in hostels most the time. I’m a 37yr single women who wants to see as much of Australia as possible, but looking to have someone to share expenses and fun!

I’m planning a trip around the world in a couple years. I’d like to do it as inexpensively as possible. I’m considering teaching English, couch surfing and countries that have mass transit to keep my traveling cost as low as possible. Some places I plan to visit are South America, Egypt, Baja Mexico, Australia, Japan, The Philippines and India. I’d like any additional ideas when considering a trip such as this.
