Leipzig is a cosmopolitan city that is alive and waiting to be explored. The New York Times ranked the city among the top ten of “The 31 Places to Go in 2010″. Also, the travel section of the British newspaper “The Guardian” mentioned Leipzig as the first out of 20 travel destinations in Germany. Bustling night life, bars and clubs from very traditional to avant-garde are open all night long. Leipzig is an open-minded, friendly city where international students and guests feel at home. Leipzig has a population of about half a million inhabitants whereof approx. 40.000 are students. HHL is located on the University of Leipzig’s campus for Sport Science which is in close proximity to the city center.
I am not an experienced traveler. I want to go somewhere but I don’t know or even really care where, preferably within the US, or just someplace not requiring a passport. Are there destinations that are typically begging for tourists in June? Also, when is the best time to buy plane tickets?

While the visual appeal of the locations is highlighted by cinematic photography, greater emphasis is placed on the who, what, why and how aspects of the place to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of preservation and conservation. Tourism destinations are not static, evolving or deteriorating in time, and require intervention and attention to be sustained for future generations. The show seeks to reveal the cultural and historical bases of the sites, elevate the issues hand in hand with the natural beauty, so that the viewer achieves a more comprehensive appreciation of the national treasures in the Philippines. The show is presented in semi-documentary form, with interviews and sound bytes from different local characters and experts along with vivid images.
