Austerity is the word of 2012. Seniors are going to have to work longer and still face cuts to pensions, while youth unemployment spirals out of control. Holidays are – leisure travel – is discretionary and in the new economic reality some are going to reevaluate their travel plans, even a 10 to 20% cut in vacationers will be devastating to some areas and industries let alone if the cut is deeper.
