Imagine you’re going to travel around the world. What would be the countries you’d avoid going to because of their animals/nature? ANIMALS/NATURE, NOT political or war conditions. Mine would be: Australia: Because they have every poisonous insect and snake there. Brazil: Because of the Amazon. Countries in middle Africa: Because of the Tsetse fly. Please don’t be offended. This is my personal opinion. What are yours? No stupid answers please!

thinking of taking a gap year next year (2013) and was curious to how much money i would realistically have to save up for my trip. i know you can get around the world tickets relatively cheaply, but how much would i need on top of that? i am a student traveller and am not worried about luxury accommodation, its more of a backpacking thing

Instead of espousing e pluribus unum, they divided and subdivided, then imploded. today we have only the pieces of what used to be. So for old time’s sake, i hope you enjoy this american TV piece that promoted the wonderful state of YUGOSLAVIA some 30 years ago!
